Great Start for Softview Conservatories, Windows, Doors & FSG in 2021

Softview are expanding!
This has been a difficult time within the Conservatories, Windows, Doors, and FSG Industry.
Since the government announcement that all non-essential businesses were to close in March 2020, we had no idea what to expect. It was unprecedented and we had to make painful decisions to keep our business alive.
This impacted all areas and staff across our Showroom, Administration, Accounts, Surveyors, Installation Teams, Delivery Drivers, Aftercare, Warehouse Operators, Service Engineers, Cleaners and Manufacturers! The list could go even further.
As a family-run business we have all experienced the emotional, exhausting, and the frustrating impact this has had on our team. We had to adapt immediately. We spend 70% of our lives at work and it had immediately been turned upside down.
I am so proud of everybody. Whether it was on the phone or Zoom, everyone was supporting and encouraging each and everyone whom we work with. Last minute decisions by the government throughout the year made it emotionally difficult for us all - opening, then shutting, then opening but only certain parts, then shutting again. The difficulty in understanding the government announcements at times has left our staff, tradesmen, manufacturers and owners really feeling the pressure as to what on earth it is that we are meant to be doing.
We were asked why we didn't just shut our doors during these periods like other companies, rather than dealing with the yo-yo nature of the decision making from the top.
We had a meeting with all staff and continued working with our clients who were happy to continue under government guidelines. We have our showrooms sanitised weekly by JW3 and adhere to all social distancing guidelines.
To have some normality within our lives for not just our staff but our clients too has certainly given us a sense of purpose and a feeling of gratitude that we have been able to survive and keep going, whilst so many people and businesses have not.
So why are we telling you all this? WE WANT TO THANK YOU.
Thank you to our staff for turning up or working from home.
Thank you to our clients for their trust. For allowing us to come and quote for your home and to install safely and securely. We also want to thank you for at times being patient with deliveries, with so many manufacturers being impacted.
Thank you to those manufacturers for doing all they can to keep going and delivering as quickly and efficiently as possible over this last year.
With all your continued support, we have now taken on a further two installation teams to meet the demand from our customers and continue to service orders with the best possible service.
With all the sad news of redundancies and difficulty being faced by others, we wanted to share this message of thanks to you all for allowing us to continue to support our local community.
We are in our 29th year now as an independent company and are looking forward to many more years of making a difference to your homes and businesses.
Thank you for your support.
