Softview leading the way in becoming a Green Homes Installer! What does it mean for our clients... According to GHG there will be little effect in real terms for the replacement window market. It appears to be a carbon copy of the Green Deal which the govenment introduced a few years back.
The Facts as we understand
To qualify as a homeowner - for Replacement windows under GHG
You must of had a Primary measure first which includes, House insulation, air or ground source heat pumps and solar thermal systems. So to qualify for Replacement Windows and Doors you must have single glazed windows, and had one of the Primary measures installed to qualify.
Windows and Doors come under the Secondary Measure.
